Dear Parents and Guardians,

Scholarship and Financial Aid Awards will be announced by October 14. The final day for submission of data to SSS and the Scholarship Applications was September 30. A reminder that: if you are receiving an in Parish tuition discount you must be making monthly contributions to the parish. Failure to do so will result in your tuition being raised to non-parishioner status.

Our Home and School Meeting on Tuesday, October 18 will feature a variety of guests including representatives from Aurora Central Catholic High School, Marmion Academy, Rosary High School, Just Food Initiative, VNA, blood pressure screening, flu shots, Grand Dental and the St. Therese Knights of Columbus. After a short meeting you are encouraged to visit our guests. Home and School meetings are mandatory for all parents.

The academic quarter closes on Friday, October 21. Parent-Teacher conferences are to be held all day on Friday, October 28, 2016. Older students (Grades 3-8) may attend the conferences but all students are not to attend school that day. You received a sign-up sheet in the family envelope. Please send the sheets back to the main office.

A reminder: We have a four-day weekend on October 7,8,9,10. All teachers will be attending an In-Service Day at St. Peter School in Geneva on STEM and the new science curriculum on October 7. We will be celebrating the Columbus Day Holiday on Monday, October 10.

Please remember to sign up for the Home and School Breakfasts. You may work or donate food items which count towards your service hours. The dates are: 1/29/17, 2/26/17, 3/12/17, 4/9/17.

The Home and School Halloween Trunk or Treat and Dance is on Saturday, October 29. Volunteers are needed for setup, cleanup, and serving.
